Hey listen man, I responded up top and I’m genuinely trying to be welcoming of constructive criticism to me because that’s what the comments are for. But I really don’t think there’s any reason to start trash talking Max, too.

Hey man, fair to criticize my F1 coverage. Two things at play here. First is that the sooner we publish, the higher we show up in search results. So I pub first and then copy edit. All of those errors were fixed less than 10 minutes after publication, before I saw this comment. Only thing still there is “sealed

Just seems like putting your critique in direct response to his heartfelt goodbye was a little strong. I guess just not reading his articles wasn’t an option?

Unrelated to this story, but this is my last post on Jalopnik for the time being and I wanted to say goodbye to everyone. The Megane is not the same as a Versa. The last-gen one was also a Renault Scala, but even all this is giving way, way too much credit. He specifically mentioned France. The only shared Nissan/Renault platform cars for sale in the US are the Rogue/Qashqai, the last Juke, maybe the Kicks? I’m sure that’s what he meant.
