Yeah, same thing happened to me. Looked like it didn’t work, popped open a browser tab and immediately closed it but then when I refreshed this page... it asked me to do the kinja display name, yadda yadda.

Merging my Disqus and Kinja accounts doesn’t work. Also, the site is ugly and soulless, like Gawker. I’m pretty sad about this whole thing. :(

Well, I did the “Claim your account” thing and it took me to a Disqus page, then the browser just closed. Am I verified? I fucking hate this already.
