The instructions posted yesterday were not very clear. I managed to create this account by linking it to my Disqus account but this account apparently needs to also be linked to a FB, Twitter or Google account, which was not explained at all. As far as I can tell this account is now orphaned. I’ll lose access to it

“Come on, Ironclad”

Thanks! That looks to be the case. Converting from Disqus to Kinja creates an orphan Kinja account that then needs to be tied to FB etc. Why they wouldn’t tell us that in the instructions shines a spotlight on Kinja incompetence. Guess I need to set up a burner account under a different name.

Yes, the NYC subway does not look like that. What’s strange is they film in New York so they weren’t even trying to make the subway look the same.

I created a Kinja account but was not prompted to login via any service, nor was I prompted to create a kinja password.

It’s pretty amateurish. The instructions don’t actually prepare you for what happens. I was never asked to connect Kinja to Disqus, a tab opened and closed faster than I could see what was happening, so I just repeatedly hit “claim account”, finally came back here and reloaded this page and there was a modal window

I like how The Hand, in their thousands(?) of years of existence, have yet to come up with a proper name for "the substance".

Take a core sample and count the growth rings.

Damnit!

Last!

Maybe in the schools you attended, but that certainly wasn't universally true.

Westmoreland being a lame villain was kind of the point. He was the man behind the curtain, in his case the curtain was the neolutionists, Dyad and all the other shell companies set up to hide him, that you weren't supposed to pay attention to because if you did you'd see a not-so-scary man who was only concerned

Sounds more like someone doesn't understand the definition of 'mediocre'.

I sure hope someone eventually mentions that Madame Gao first appeared in Daredevil.

Congrats on noticing that they used the same wig for Helena throughout the show's run. I mean, what is the point of nitpicking the non-essential minutiae, that nobody cared about until the third-to-the-last episode, of a low budget show?

It's not just reviewers, look at the comments here as well.

Endive salad with walnuts, pears, and gorgonzola (I'm an effete east coast liberal).

For whatever reason I never found the plot overly complicated. Maybe it was because I watched prior seasons before each subsequent season started?
