He's been teaching at the university for fifty years. Whether that means he has gone back to 1967 and stayed for 50 years or he just flits back for lectures and office hours every once in a while is unknown.

And to clarify my clarification, the short clip that was used to introduce Bill was filmed before Prince's death. The rest of the episode was filmed in June.

The Doctor didn't steal the photos. He went back in time, snapped photos of Bill's mother, then returned to 2017 where he hid a box of them in Bill's apartment.

There were leaks about Simm's Master returning a couple of days before the BBC announced he would be back. There have been rumors of a much bigger surprise this season, making me think the attention on Simm is a diversion.

The Time Lords aren't in a position to make the Doctor, the Lord President of the High Council, savior of Gallifrey and the person who won the Time War, do anything.

A couple of years ago I spent the better part of an evening trying to track down the source of that story with no luck. I couldn't find a credible online source nor could I find a mention of it in any news article.

The Doctor and Clara stole a TARDIS while on Gallifrey. After the Doctor's memory was wiped Clara and Ashildr took the Doctor to Nevada, stopping off at some point to retrieve his TARDIS so he could travel once they left.

Victor Garber will be happy to hear that!

How would the Doctor know Clara wiped his memories of her?

That the Daleks have to appear for contractual reasons is a rumor without any evidence and Moffat himself has denied there is any such legal obligation.

The Prince shirt scenes were filmed before Prince died.

That may be but many of the actors on CW shows split their time between Vancouver and LA and film nearly twice as many episodes as Doctor Who.

That was a funny joke… in 2013.

What show runner are you referring to? Moffatt has brought in new writers every season, several of whom he didn't know very well.

Jeez, get over yourself.

There are hints that the upcoming season will do just that.

That was one scene in one episode eleven years and, soon, two show runners and three Doctors ago so maybe it is time to get over it.

Poor Joe…

Season 2 is much better than season 1. A good place to start is the last couple of episodes of S1, because they set the stage for S2.

What got me was the couple of recent episodes where James was hanging out with everyone in the middle of the day at the alien bar. Was it a weekend? Don't any of those people work?
