You as well, mate. :)
Yeah, he looked pretty well moved, too. The older he gets the more he looks just like old man. Wonderful. :)
+1 but I’m going to argue that Filter isn’t queefcore. They started industrial and moved into post-grunge rock, but too hard and multi-layered for queefcore IMO. Besides, Richard Patrick is from Cleveland and we’re too cool for queefcore. ;)
+1 This is brilliant.
Oh. My. God. That really was amazing. I have to admit though, I didn’t like the addition of the choir. I normally think choirs add a lot to a song but this I really thought would have been better to just let Ann carry the vocals herself. But I have tears anyway, so the choir must not have been that displeasing to me!…
I’ve had a headache all day that just refuses to go away and it’s preventing me from listening to all this great stuff you’ve all posted as loud as it deserves to be played at. Here’s my contribution to the Ice-T thread. Saw this movie in the theatre, was a big influence in my future career as a rapper that never…
Had an interesting discussion with friends about where we were and what we were on when we first heard this track. All our stories involved camping in the woods. The whole album is good, very dystopic if you’re into that kind of thing.
I always say I don’t know something or that I forgot it until you post it, but this time I was actually right, haha! I really don’t know this song. Country, “southern” rock, world music and folk are my least-known genres. Thanks for the education. I’m still hooked on that Babys song you re-introduced me too a couple…
Oh, I don’t know that song! Shame on me. :) That’s my age bracket so I probably know a few and just don’t realise it.
Cleveland, too. I still love it. How many Midwestern kids were named “Leah” after this song, like all the 30-somethings named Rhiannon. :)
Fair enough. :)
I’m almost 100% sure that’s where I picked it up from. Loved that show, I was almost a teenager when it came on.
Somebody report back immediately to us if he says or does anything completely cavemanish or crazy... :)
+1 big-time. And it’s an exact picture of the club scene in south London. Your unintentional gift to me, so thanks for that, mate. :)
+1 This was not at all what I expected in a good way.
+1 Is this really Queefcore though? I loved this band, I guess it could qualify, it does fit the style....
I don’t like Chopped but this is the one episode I can’t wait to see!
This is by far my favourite Motown song. I wasn’t alive yet in 1967 and this song makes me feel like it’s the closest I’ll ever get to actually having been there.
But our Queefcore loving mate seems to be having no problem. ;)
