+1 This is really solid. Loved it. :)

I clicked on your link and YouTube put this gem in the recommended section. I remember roller skating to this song at the rink. +1 for old age.

Earnest Byner “The Fumble”. I was a little kid then and I still remember it clear as day, it was the trauma of my childhood.

Pandora gave me this track the other day while I was in road-trip mode with a couple friends, we bounced all over the car. Been listening to it at least once a day ever since. Still know nothing about these guys, need to do a little research.

As a sort of side note, Clapton and I are both alumni of Kingston University in London. Richard James/Aphex Twin is also a fellow alum. Good company to be in, methinks. :)

I really didn't want to give Kendrick Lamar the time of day, the music snob in me protests listening to mainstream rap, but I finally sat down and gave this one a listen and now I've got it on repeat...

This is my favourite Animals song, but I'm guessing this is not news as I'm guessing it's probably a favourite for a lot of folks??

Based on her last album, I'd pick Beyonce for the pop star chorus part.

LOL! I do that to myself a lot, mix up music that has no business being put together. No wonder I'm so confused... :)

+1 Oh my.

I may have to disappoint you twice, mate. I think(??) this song was early 90's and the fashion is pretty close to what the UK is wearing nowadays, they're all stuck in the 80s. ;)

Haha! I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. I know I do that in conversation when I'm talking about something I like or don't like, like with food, I'll say "Genn likes this", etc. I guess I do that in written communication as well. Duly noted. :)

+1 Oh my. Genn loves these guys. Good post, mate.

Oh, Kinja, you confuse me! Well then. I get it now. This is probably my favourite Frank Ocean track, it feels like a textbook perfect R&B song.

The longest I've ever been is a couple months, it was Fleetwood Mac, "Big Love". Drove me insane.

Happy Friday everyone! Easy night, just "hanging around" listening to The Stranglers.

+1 This really deserves to come out of the greys....

+1 The Hitchhiker's series were the best books I ever read. Definitely gone too soon.
