“DP”, at least in Cleveland anyway, among older generations means “displaced person” (Eastern European immigrant) , and sometimes, “dumb Polack”. Huge Polish-bred population in Cleveland. Somebody in that marketing room has to be over 40 and from here that would have known that, no? Porn thing still great.

That’s what I thought. This is no different than any other day in employed America.

Not really into basketball but I’m from Cleveland so I had a front row seat to watch him grow up and I’m really impressed with how he’s matured. The thing with Jim Brown during last year’s NBA finals was probably one of the greatest sports moments in history.

Diego Costa seems have to have leapt into the part of my head space where hating John Terry used to be.

Ha! You went there! I was really hoping someone would. :)

Never even thought about it that way. Great question and great answers, everyone!

Leicester City has won the Premier League title. Your obligatory Kasabian post....

Sorry, just seeing this, and hope all is well with you back and you’re making it happen in ol’ Texas. Cheers, mate.

Greetings everyone! Contributing two whole selections and getting back to work. My best wishes to you all. :)

This is the first I’ve actually watched it but I’ve known about it for some time. I see myself doing a binge-watch of it eventually.

Happy Easter to all of you that celebrate it, happy Sunday to the rest of us. :) Found this gem by accident.

Nice! I believe that was one of my first U2 tours I saw, Zoo TV. They played Cleveland and The Pixies opened for them, it was March 26, 1992, still the best concert I’ve ever seen. Changed my life, but I was a kid then, those moments happen. :)

Forgot how much I loved this band. Good post. :)

Ha, yes, Kasabian is my second-favourite band ever (U2 is the first) and I’ve been using the DUAN forum to post Kasabian videos in the hopes that I can generate a fan base for them in the US. Needless to say I’m still fighting that battle. :)

never knew who Gregory Isaacs was until I moved to London, he’s (obviously) huge there. By far the best voice in Carribean music I’ll ever know.

Oh my! I had heard and loved check my Brain before but not the other two. Thank you! They still have the signature Alice in Chains sound and they’re not trying too hard at it. And I admit Jerry Cantrell is quite adorable now that he’s gone with the short hair and gotten old.
