I don't think the plot of Tommy having to kill Ghost was nonsensical. It was meant to prove the power of Ghost (pun intended). Even if we all know James is the central character and therefore not likely to get killed at this point, the writer could have had Tommy really tried to kill him and have a scene like Kanan's,

Of course I enjoyed this episode as it supports my thoughts on the series. Tommy is a satellite that only exists to orbit around in Ghost's universe. Same can be said about many other characters. My hope is that we get less 'corrupt cop' stories (as much as people liked that aspect of it, I thought it so contrived!)

I agree that this was the best episode of this season. For me the best episode of the entire season was the one when Angela found James = Ghost.

I hated it… sigh

Well it figures that the episode you liked I hated, haha
Apparently everyone is loving this new character 'jukebox', everyone except me that is.
This episode was a departure of some form. It appears that the creator and writers spent the offseason trying to weave in real topics in a way Law and Order would do:

Please keep writing reviews for as long as the series last! I really appreciate them -never mind that I tend to disagree with you more often than not.

Can I start by boasting that I was right last year when I said that Sandoval was on Lobos' payroll? Anyway, off to read the review.

Checked out your blog. Excellent writing. I'm impressed.
Didn't leave a message there because I wasn't sure who you were among the writers and I must admit I'm not that familiar with US MLS. Keep up the good work! Oh and I'm not on twitter but thanks anyway.

Thanks again. Great to 'meet' a fellow tennis fan! I love all sports (even cricket, ha!) but tennis is my first and truest love. Would you share your soccer blog link? (I must admit I call it football, haha) I'd love to read it. I have been thinking of starting my own sports blog too but life sometimes gets in the

I love Lobos too!
Kanan is true evil so I can see why you may not like him. That said, Fifty has done a phenomenal job, imo

Thanks again. I too have enjoyed Joshua's reviews and everyone's comments.
I hope everyone's back next season. It's going to feel like an eternity…

Thank you for your kind words. I'm blushing, haha. I'm not a writer but funny you say that as it's always been a dream of mine to write a book. I used to write for my school paper but the problem is I grew up bilingual and I don't feel that I do either language justice… Oh well maybe one day.
I don't watch much TV

Yes, but as Joshua pointed out there had to be a way to keep him alive. I mean, after all, he's not only key to the plot but he's also one of the producers, haha

Oh ok… still don't see the comparisons being all that apt… Tommy is very loyal and in a sort of perverse way the best of the lot. Ghost may be low key but his only focus is himself, imo. Thanks.

Your comment leaves me a little confused. We have opposite opinions about the quality of the final, but that's fine. That said, which good will are you speaking of? and how is Ghost Batman? Ghost is not interested in saving humanity from its villains. He is the ultimate villain who will methodically eliminate anyone

I am glad Kanan is alive too and I figured from the time he went down that he was actually faking passing out. If I have to guess which three characters will be there till the end, it would be: Ghost, Angela and Kanan.

Spot on! Angela is Mrs Ghost in every sense!

I do too think the finale was great but I think it's good that Kanan escaped. He's the one real threat to Ghost at the moment. He can handle the rest.

Yes, definitely!
Also, watching an episode once is not enough. The fast pace and the subtleties and nuances make it easy to miss little -yet important- details to better appreciate future developments.

I don't know that everyone was ridiculing it last year. I know many people who have been fans -like myself- from the start.
