I do hope you come back!
I truly enjoyed this piece. This is the one time I found myself nodding and agreeing with everything you said. This part, in particular, almost exactly reflected my feelings about the Kanan/Ghost scene: "Their confrontation, which mostly consists of one trying to come up with the quippiest

I mostly disagree with both of you. I think she's really… in love? infatuated? obsessed? with Ghost. As such, and after having discovered who he really is, she sees her job as a tool to ensure he's safe when all is said and done (whether they're together or not). This is also why she wants to see Tommy put away

"Ghost is omnipotent" Yes, this is it! The essence of this show. Actually he's not only omnipotent but omnipresent.

You should check it out

I have given 50 cents his due from the beginning basically because he doesn't appear to be acting. He seems so comfortable with this role that we have no way of seriously judging his acting chops, IMO.

Hmmm I think I mostly disagree with you this week. Didn't particularly care for this episode. Both storyline and performances were 'patchy' (hey I do agree with you on something after all). The trial motion was too conveniently and neatly wrapped up, even for someone like me who has defended the series as

I don't think it's supposed to be realistic, really. And how can you like the show and not Tommy and Ghost? The main characters? Strange.

In many ways I couldn't agree or disagree more with you.
The last two episodes have been kind of choppy, I agree. That said, I don't understand your need for Lobos to be multidimensional. It is obvious this show is about Ghost. Everything is secondary. As for the scene between Tasha and Ghost, it was simply ruined by

I agree the threesome scene was unnecessary. Actually this episode didn't meet my expectations (based on the last two which, to me, were the best) Hopefully with Kanan back things will get back on track.

Well it is a tv drama series and not a documentary after all. I wouldn't pretend to know anything about the life of drug dealers in New York or elsewhere but I like the story and the way it's being developed.

This episode was very intense! I still say last week's was better. That said, I agree with you that Holly became interesting and almost likable, all of the sudden. And Tasha's performance was much better (minus the sex scene)
I believe Kanan is going to come back with a vengeance. His absence may relate to fifty's

Exactly I see the Ghost character actually becoming less invincible by the minute. No offense to Joshua intended whatsoever but it seems to me he hasn't watched this series with the same.. intensity?
That said though, and going by what creator Courtney Kemp Agboh said, (paraphrasing something like: Ghost is going to

I think one of the reasons is so compelling is because new developments have come fast and furious, in almost every episode (not complaining on that front, haha) But I have a hard time imagining how they can keep it going in a meaningful -equally compelling- way for more than a couple of seasons. I mean how many more

I disagree with most of your 'stray' observations. I don't believe that Holly is meant to be multidimensional so I think the back and forth during the interrogation was pretty apt. Also, I thought the delivery of the 'dumb bitch' line was awesome (I don't know why you think she manhandled it?!)
Unlike you, I didn't
