There's really nothing overtly Christian about the movie, save one scene where they all pray before the concert, but as mentioned above, that's pretty standard. More likely this is being pushed as church fare because a) there's nothing to morally offend the easily offended, so it's easy "family fare," and b) the whole

Those are the mushrooms.

OH OH, and ALSO, please to recall, Pauly gettin' it on with Danielle in the Smash Room in the season one finale, after the whole "stalking his whole life" thing. Clearly the guy didn't sever ties with her after the initial "stalking" incident.

To be clear, I'm not saying that either of these people are catches and that Pauly and Snooki should have stuck with them…. but they're pushy, not stalkers. Maybe I'm misremembering the first season a bit, but as I recall, Danielle kinda followed Pauly around the boardwalk and called him a bunch because he said they

I just want you all to know I'm reading all these comments in the voice of Grandpa Simpson and enjoying it very much.

My chin and I thank you.

Actually, Videocracy is no longer being updated, which is why it's off the main page. There's a bug that makes it turn up in a sidebar occasionally, but that should be gone soon. Guess you'll have to get your vlogger fix elsewhere!

It's a matter of taste, of course, but I actually thought this one was more mundane than Monday's: The whole "Snookin' for love" thing is really boring at this point, and Jenni's drama was pretty rote until the end. Whereas last week was just a lot of silly, funny stuff top to bottom. I guess it depends what you watch

Moreover, why is it so hard to believe that a poster on this board (or a writer on this site, ahem) could like Breaking Bad, Community, AND Jersey Shore? We expect different things from different shows, and view/review them accordingly. This was an A episode of Jersey Shore (backing Marah up on this one 100%) because

Why do people keep calling me an intern? I've worked here for four years!

Not only that, from the clips I've seen of the pilot, it looks like it might be a shot-for-shot remake of the UK pilot, minus all the drugs and nudity. Which, you know, sounds just GREAT.

Yeah, is that some sort of extended scene or DVD featurette? I definitely don't remember them being featured THAT much in the movie.

Thanks, sarCCastro, it's just what I wanted!

Technically, Hilarious doesn't come out until next month, so chances are very good it will end up on next year's list.

I suspected you were joking, but it seemed like as good a time to address a complaint that gets brought up every time we do one of these. Not an attack, just conversation.

Honestly, the whole "I don't want to hear people talking about what they had for breakfast" argument against Twitter is pretty dismissive. It's like blogging: Yes, there are thousands of people inanely prattling about stupid shit, but there are also people who use it for interesting/intelligent conversation. Comedians

Our own Todd VanDerWerff tweeted this video late last night, and sent me the link to put on GJI, so that's where it originated from on this end. It exploded shortly after I posted, so I'm not sure if other people caught onto it simultaneously or it stemmed from this post, but I like to think it was the latter. :)

Yes, but those are all MCs that have either been around a long time or are safely ensconced in the "underground." For a new female MC to have a shot at pop radio—which is already a looooong shot—she pretty much has to sing.
