Preach

My old lady hair blue ‘98 LeSabre would have to agree. I’m in love.

1998 Buick Lesabre speedo tops out at 100, but it’s top speed is electronically limited to 108 mph for safety reasons related to tires and/or aero. It’ll get there, ask me how I know.

Conspiracy theory time! (Maybe un-grey time too)! So, due to the hypothetical limitations of the current Hellcat engine making it difficult to create more power, and given that stuffing all wheel drive into a Hellcat, or stuffing a Viper V10 into a Challenger may be an impossible packaging nightmare, I have a theory.

Can’t star enough

First thing I thought of as well. Functional beauty is always the right answer. The way they pulled this off reminds me of some of the air circulation vents in older art deco buildings i.e. the Guardian Building in Detroit. The function added to the aesthetic,

Don’t play with my heart like that, I’d rock a Cimarron lol. Shame to anyone who can’t appreciate the single laziest car ever made.

I like the original design, but that wood really works for me. I say bring it back, make 2017 the year of the woody’s return.

Jalopnik, more articles about cars from this era please!

I love the design. I love the silhouette and the size and the stately nature of that long sloping roof, but I very much dislike the change in front lighting. I prefer Cadillac headlights that are vertical and which run up and over the fenders as opposed to down. This whole tiny horizontal headlight with vertical drls

I know I’m late commenting, but I am in the exact same position right now, ‘98 and everything and I couldn’t mirror your experiences or opinions more

Best post I’ve seen in weeks thank you. I don’t get why you don’t have more stars.

My dad owns an Allante and I love it but you could not be more correct.

I don’t much care what anybody else thinks, the sheer presence that this car must have in person gives me the willies. Art Deco being my favorite style and all, and Rolls Royce being the purveyor of the most luxurious cars in production makes me LOVE this vehicle.

Could not possibly agree with you more.

Very right if it’s done in a classy way. And I’ll tell ya what the door panels (if I remember correctly) on those would be perfect for small inset led strips. You’d have to make them invisible though. Possible I think.

Can’t star enough. Looks lie someone else bought Steve Lehto’s book.

No kidding man! The subtlety is what makes it great I think. If I were to see your car in a parking lot it’d make my week. It’s all about subtlety I think. While I’d be inclined to agree with you in that the color scheme and general interior softness of said wagon is very Enterprise D-esque, I’d reckon that a digital

Never in a million years could I star this post enough for both the bumper badge and car.

I can’t be the only one thinking this but...what? It’s pretty unanimous that the F12 3 series is the laziest and least exciting to drive 3 series ever. It’s also very widely known that the Cadillac ATS and Jaguar XE have the best dynamics in the segment (which is the key to the segment). Cadillac’s ATS is very
