Disliking something does not immediately make you a hipster. I actually liked Infinite, but there's no denying the game had some serious problems.

You're taking his words to an illogical extreme. He's clearly not saying that no one criticized him rationally. He's saying that rational criticism was not the overwhelming response, and as a result was drowned out by the vitriol being spewed from the dark corners of the internet.

Then you're making up an intent to his words that is not supported by the words themselves.
