I bought a $380 pair of black Nike’s with a gold sole, red logo and carbon fiber-patterned tongue to match my black Subaru STi with gold wheels, red mudflaps and carbon fiber lip and diffuser (and various other aesthetic pieces). It was the most unexpected thing to ever find in Footlocker but I did not hesitate one

That abysmal attempt at a rally car that was the Kia Rio RX-V. This is probably the closest margin of copying before recognition I’ve ever seen from a manufacturer.

My father has the last fear. After serving 18 months in Iraq, he now swerves to the far opposite lane, away from any bag or box on the side of the road. Can’t blame him, he’s lived his fear a few times and you never know what crazy people are out there.

I drive an M4 quite often for work (a brand new one each time) and usually a good shifter only needs a satisfying nudge to get IN gear, not out of gear. I’ve grinded a few gears popping it into neutral, idk what it is about that 6 speed but it takes more finesse than other cars.

BMW isn’t the one to talk about manual shifting quality. Popping an M3 or M4 out of gear requires enough force to simultaneously throw it into the opposing gear on accident. BMW shifters suck, there’s a reason no one really ever praises them.

Braking for turns that don’t even require you to lift, let alone brake. Slowing down to merge. Sitting in the blind spot of other drivers. Coming to a full stop to make a right turn instead of moving over as far as possible. Taking corners with a Formula 1 style wide apex at 5mph, as if they might understeer. Showing

“Two stage turbocharging,” - sounds like compound turbos. If so, it’s cool to see that system coming back as well.

Glad you liked the picture! The Yugo is beautiful and miserable all at the same time, hope we get to see it again next year!

To avoid this whole fiasco between making the entry model better than the flagship, or making the flagship just a faster entry model, they should have never made the Boxster, and thus Cayman, as entry models to begin with. Had they intended the Boxster/Cayman to be a higher up, faster, nimbler car than the 911,

And people still think “made in the USA” is a good thing

Maybe put it on the passenger side so we can fully open the driver door at the pump and not slam our doors into the big concrete curb or gas pump.

They’d probably name it after what you’d call said children before putting them in said jump seats.

Still think CPU and horsepower should be compared together, since that’s the computers “power,” and MPG to storage since you want to use fuel and store data as efficiently as possible. Also, RAM can also be considered “power at a certain time,” like 0-60 times.

Maybe cuz the design was kept around so long, it just has that dated look to it. I understand it was built in the mid to late 90's, but I remember this and 575 being in every action movie up until my high school years, so to me (and perhaps many others), it’s always been “dated.”

There was a Toyota dealership in New Jersey about a year or two ago that had a brand new AW11 MR2 for sale. They never gave a background on where it came from, but with 32 miles on the clock and still wrapped in the plastic, it was being sold as new.

Viper? Expensive? It beats so many cars for the price of a base model 911 C2 or a fully loaded F Type.

Lay on the horn for a good 90 seconds. I can easily reach my horn with my thumb, and because it’s a Subaru of course I have the super loud Hella horns. They annoy me with their driving so I annoy them with 112 decibel clown horns. Seems fair enough.

Because the amount of useable power you have varies a lot more than your engine’s power. Depending on what drivetrain and transmission you chose could determine if you put down more power to the wheels. And correct me if I’m wrong, but car manufacturers have a lot more drivetrain options than engine options. This

In another video from Koenigsegg, Christian said it’ll be run on oil pressure in a series of galleys in each valve. Not sure which version this Saab is running, but the oil pressure system seems to be a lot safer and less complicated than an air compressor. At least an oil system will let you know if you have a leak

It should at least be measured at the crank. A car’s engine is what makes the power, not its drivetrain. If a car company can make a 500hp engine but can only deliver 400 to the wheels, why should the engine be labeled as weak? And what about cars that share an engine but not a drivetrain? Adding parasitic loss to the
