Does io9 have a #cotd like a few of its Gawker brethren? Because this would be my first vote.

I abandoned lettuce for the greener pastures of spinach long ago and never looked back. Same crunch (the only thing lettuce is good for), but it actually has nutritional value (iron!) and taste.

We'll see. It's solid, but not without its missteps.

That's funny, I got used to the waypoint-compass and wish more game devs (*cough* Hey Rockstar! *cough*) would use it in place of a mini-map.

My roommate and I were talking about the same thing, as well as how much worse it must be in person.

Just a trophy and the Batwing character model I believe.

Interesting. I think it was intended to be Jeff's fault ("See what happens when I leave you guys alone?"), but I think they've been setting up Jeff as this season's villain from the season opener, with Abed as the hero. However, I like the idea that Abed confronting Jeff is what led to the "good" timeline.

Not exactly sci-fi or geek related, but an excellent Community moment.

I'm confused as to how you thought this was the best episode of Fringe yet this season. I thought it seemed like the obligatory "Walter used to be a prick" episode. How many times do we need to see a Cortexiphan/alt-Universe character chew out Walter?

When I was in school, I actually preferred lefty-desks (I'm a righty) because I sit with my right leg crossed on top of my left one, and it left me more space to fidget.

If my criticisms sound like they were pulled from my ass, it's because I have a very astute ass.

Californian? What the hell does that mean?

Holy shit! My friends and roommates worked on this. Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I know firsthand that this was microbudget/volunteer, so it means a lot I'm sure.

Never Fall?

Ha! You mean io9's crowd isn't hip to NFL nicknames? I never would have guessed..

Stay classy, Kotaku.

See, this is what I don't understand about American audiences. Community's season opener had lower ratings than their Season 2 average, yet the internet is still full of recaps and gifs the next day. I really hope that NBC gives them at least 4 seasons.

I don't mind Tim's unnecessarily long and pretentious articles when they actually inform, (i.e. sticky friction), but this "proto-hipster" (runner-up for word most likely to get you dismissed as a person) article should have stayed on Tumblr or Livejournal or scribbled on the back of some progressive Japanese
