Why expanded? The current SC has already decided stare decisis doesn’t apply to them. I think the chances are pretty good that the scenario XPDNC suggests will happen.

The thing is, though, I don’t think iska2000's issue with your mediocre article is specifically a “Back to the Future” thing.

generally disingenuous but the point is understood

Human beings often use this expression figuratively when asking other human beings for understanding after an incident in which they have behaved poorly.

I know we are all aiming for a partner who will forget a child in a hot car and THANK the rescuer, as oppose to suing them, but that person is a Hollywood fiction.

“Do you think we will get this grant money?”

I’ve tried measuring these types of things before. I’d be willing to bet that while it doesn’t fit 24 oz of a carbonated beverage, it will EXACTLY fit 24 oz of water or other flat fluid. So, if it says 24 oz cup, probably in the clear. If it says 24 oz beer.....probably not.

i think 8th graders earn more per year than the bloggers on this site.

Kind of a Good Will Hunting thing.

A recently retired NYPD captain driving a Corolla shot a BMW driver in the leg during a heated exchange on Coney Island.

I mean, yes? But also much worse. Hitting someone with a car is one thing but running over a person who was hanging on to the hood seems SOOOO much more deliberate.  I hope, assuming he is guilty, he gets 20 years.

Everyone should watch Ray Romano in The Grand and Funny People. In other words, everyone should feel as disappointed as I am that he wasted all that time making a ton of money on a mediocre show. Although, he also got to spend those years hanging with Peter Boyle AND make a ton of money. He made the right choice but

I agree that revoking a license should be enough the first time. However, if someone drives drunk with a revoked license, they should 100% be sent to prison for, at least, a little bit.

The notion that Supreme Court Justices should be elected is beyond ridiculous. There are almost no requirements to be a Justice. As much as the recent appointments blow, at least they are legally trained. If the US elected them, they might elect anyone. My Pillows might be elected. Most functional democracies don’t

You are tragically wrong. The movie Youngblood takes place in Hamilton, Ontario; about 40 miles from Toronto.

And what is she going to do when those two giant sperms she has for eyebrows impregnate her eyes? Go to an out-of-state ophthalmologist for a double abortion?  Good luck.
