Co-sign. The IMAX sound had my teeth rattling. It’s a movie designed for the big screen.

Aaaaand you lost me. I’m happy there’s a section of the fandom getting their cartoons in live action but if I have to watch an entire series to appreciate Ahsoka, the writing has failed spectacularly.
What do you think a Russo Brothers Star Wars movie might’ve looked like?
Those are definitely pictures of dolls
It wasn’t a big deal when Superman died, because everyone knew he would come back eventually. When Adam Warlock dies, it’s explicitly not a big deal because it’s baked into the character that he will come back.
I understand why they went to the nanobot suit, but I did really enjoy those early entries with the clunkier, physical pieces of armor.
The “big six” at the top of the Premier League’s financial and historical hierarchy (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Tottenham Hotspur)
Living+ sounds like a nightmare but I thought it was a not-so-subtle nod towards Jeff Bezos expressing a desire to create little Amazon communities where they provide housing, healthcare, groceries, etc.
“We joke that it’s like we’re playing with action figures,” Favreau added.
I’m enjoying the cosmic irony of Disney donating $100k to the same politician they’ve now engaged in a legal battle.
The text on the screen says “How Willy became...” and then the title card: Wonka.
the Maximals can shapeshift into organic animals, while the Terrorcons morph into vehicles like most other Transformers in this franchise.
I just don’t understand what’s being served by redoing everything. A TV show does let the story breathe a little more, but just how much runtime are they going to devote to Hermione’s classmates being dismissive of her crusade to end elf slavery?
I watch DWTS with my wife even if I think it’s a little silly, but I always appreciated how much of a stickler Goodman was and his ability to explain to viewers what they should be looking for (lifts/no lifts, lines, framing, whether a dance should be fluid or rigid, etc.).
It’s a good thing BoBF had multiple episodes or this would’ve been in danger of being a blog and not a slideshow.
Of all the ways you could’ve artistically rendered these characters, going with the most corporate, sanded-down version of them was certainly a choice.
Very little, if any drama, surrounded this formerly very important relic. So we’re left wondering if anyone even cares anymore... and we don’t even mean the Mandalorians, we mean the people making the show. It just became nothing.
Sure, the Clone Wars and Rebels nerds will love it, but a sizable portion of fans will be wondering, “who the fuck are these people?”
I’m glad the Mandalore storyline wrapped in one season because if these live action shows are going to act as extended codas for the cartoons, I think I’m out.
Did he also retake the oath and they just didn’t show it?
