It would have been more palatable as a film. You could easily cut it down to 120 minutes and lose nothing of importance.

It still wouldn’t have fixed the fact that they don’t try to develop G’aih as a character at all, but at least you could excuse that a little in a much shorter time frame.

I get that, for my tastes though Phantasm is little too plodding, and I find I appreciate it more than I actually enjoy it.
