THIS. This opinion is so overlooked that I’m going to restate it in my own words in the hope that it reaches someone:

I have twin 4-year-old boys and they can be a handful. I like the advice in this article a lot and I’m sure I’ll have PLENTY of opportunities to put it into practice before bed-time tonight.

THANK YOU. It sucks that people even need to come to these realizations, but when they do it seems counterproductive to ridicule them for not doing it in just the way we’d like using only approved phrases, emotions, and illustrative devices.
