I can’t even edit the thing. Ugh.

Perhaps “Nice guy doesn’t get the pretty younger woman he deserves: The Movie”. I’m sure it WON’T be that, to be clear. I think we can all degree it won’t be “Mutually Respectful Relationships.”

It does seem like “Rich White Man Problems, the Movie.” Almost like it’s a bet to see how out of touch they can make a movie. Or, how many Oscars they can get.

I clicked on a link that said “bang bang forever” in a comment section. I’m a moron.

    Ducktape brand duct tape.

I was actually having a great time!

I don’t think it’s as representative as some of the others.

I think these jokes stand up to scrutiny.

    I’m glad for that much!

I think what makes it great is that we are so limited in what we see. It’s just a glimpse into his life, and that’s all we can take.

Sorry, must have been deleted. Here is the one I was talking about:

You know, with Kinja I can’t tell which comment you are asking about, I’m sorry. I will try one more though:

It’s a standard in medias res. The story begins when he’s in the bathroom, naked. The circumstances of his nudity are more funny imagined the spelled out, and he hasn’t the time anyway, seeing as he has limited characters. His wife and boss will be there soon, and so a plan is hatched. If this were a shitty 80s movie,

    Glorious!

Yes, committing to the bit years later. So good.

I think of it more like a haiku of aggression and toilet humor. It creates a scene (He is being questioned about the dark stain on his jeans), it shows train of though (embarrassment, followed by anger, then the anger redirected at the other person), and there is the implied resolution of the other person disgusted

It’s just a Jack Nicholson picture that’s been compressed and shared many many times. Lots of memes are copied and modified, and a lack of fidelity is part of the charm. For instance, this meme looks like it was made in paint in about 30 seconds:

    OK, I’ll try again.
