I really like the way words look so I have captions on pretty much all the time.

I’m going to need to go back on anti-depressants soon and I’m not looking forward to it (nothing has worked long term in the past so I keep thinking it’s pointless) but your comment made me optimistic. Thank you.

I couldn’t finish that clip; wayyy too much secondhand embarrassment.

Selling point: Their patented anti-scuff technology won’t soil the Oval Office sofa even when you put your feet up on it. Remarkable! Huge!

Kris is gonna milk this “trauma” and spin it into a “Kendall: She’s just like you—Alienated, scared, and alone...only hotter!” Within two months she’ll be the face of an anti-bullying campaign. You know, ‘cause she really cares and she’s down to earth or some shit.

One thing I would like would be for all online retailers to stop pinning clothes so much on their models. If there’s a discrepancy in fit/sizing, I wanna know it before I buy. I understand that they want the garment to photograph well, but it sucks when you order something thinking it’s more tailored only to find out

I’m a huge cynic, but I have to say that the folks that I worked with were genuinely proud to help promote diversity in fashion (and through activism outside of work). While that comment could have been made as a PR boosting quote, I can also say that I saw the real deal on a daily basis.

I think that’s why it’s also important to leave reviews whenever possible on purchases— good and bad. There have been sooo many times that I think something would look great on me (since it’s pinned perfectly on a straight sized model) and I go to the reviews and save $$$$ because someone with a similar shape posted a

I don’t want to speak for all plus size folk, but why the hell is it so hard to find an adorable cardigan with extra room for my girthy (upper) arms?!

I had to live on the border of PGH and Wilkinsburg to be able to afford to live alone. I had looked at apartments in Lawrenceville when I was first moving to the area but I knew, with how high the rent was starting to get there and Bloomfield (where I also looked), I would be priced out the next year. It was

I only worked in PGH/for ModCloth briefly but, while I truly enjoyed my time there, I am sooo glad I’m missing this transition and I wish you the best of luck. That truly sucks that you’ve had to wait at all for your paycheck, especially that long.

If you really wanted to you would. I’m only saying this because, as an internet stranger, I care about your health. What kind of message would we be sending to children if we allowed adults (heck, everyone) to be happy with their bodies?!

I worked at the Customer Care Center in PGH (albeit briefly— I left to relocate) and there wasn’t a nap room there at the time (so maybe just SF got that) but they were building an exercise room. There were also dogs frequently roaming around the office so that pretty much makes up for a nap room in my opinion.

What, no love for Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?

I had a crush on John Stossel as a teen. sigh

I can’t even bring myself to watch it, I’m that embarrassed by the concept.

Weird fact: Vanessa Hudgens has more Instagram followers than Lady Gaga. Like...wut?

When I worked at Salvation Army I would come across typewriters with decent frequency. We would sell them for ~$10 and I would see some of the same ones (albeit a bit more polished) for $150 on Etsy (and others going for $300+). I started collecting them from thrift stores because I’d make mini art projects using

That explains their dead behind the eyes look.

Bonnie irked me but I was also entranced....Which made me empathize with the character of Madeline. Here’s this gorgeous, worldly being (Bonnie), who is almost so down to earth that she’s smug. It doesn’t make any sense and yet it makes allll the sense.
