I just looked up those converted residences....They start around $1,7500 a month and go up to $5,500—That in and of itself unsettles me :/ With the wave of hospital closures that occurred and the resulting homelessness of some patients...It just seems so distasteful to turn the place into luxury condos.

My general thinking is, if you want to change something about yourself then people shouldn’t give you grief about it.

They all pretty much make you defecate endlessly. But at least you won’t feel so bloated? I don’t know...

Pfft then are you *really* #livingyourbestlife?

The ads are almost starting to become bizarrely amusing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen so many sponsored posts lately that are for totally random young folks with 500 followers who want to be the next big ~influencer~. And then there’s the indie self-help book authors. And the “prepare for the

It takes a while, but after clicking “see fewer posts like this” for the millionth time you’ll start to find that the suggested photos are a bit more in line with what you don’t totally hate.

This needs more stars. We’re reinforcing that capitalism and consumerism make life worth living. Once these kids are old enough and realize that the jetsetting (or even upper class) lifestyle is virtually unattainable for most, there the credit card companies will be— ready to take over. It’s very depressing to think

I’m from Massachusetts. My brain cannot comprehend it being “baby.”

Wow. That makes me really sad and terrified at the prospect of ever having a kid of my own :/ Poor thing :(

I don’t have cable but I have a Roku and the HGTV app is available on it (and smartphones too). They have some free shows but if you have family with cable (thanks, mom!) you might be able to log in with their info and get an even wider selection.

I responded before reading your comment but I also was preaching the good word of Vintage Flip. I haven’t seen any new episodes added to the HGTV app but I’m hopeful since you said it’s still on!

There was a really good program called “Vintage Flip” but I don’t know if it’s still airing. There might be a few episodes on the HGTV app still and I’m pretty sure on Amazon too ($1.99/episode). You may wanna give it a whirl. The couple is meh but they tastefully renovate really neat older homes while respecting the

I have never watched Home Town because of the commercials: using that Sheryl Crow song is the first mistake and that woman telling me to “...just git up and DEW IT!”

I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the show since I’ve been inundated with ads for it while watching HGTV on Demand. The part where Erin says: “Get up and do it” just makes me cringe every time, especially when the background is Sheryl Crow’s “Everyday is a Winding Road.”

I don’t always love Christina’s designs because they are usually a yuppie’s version of edgy— That said, I think they’re generally tasteful and I can see them helping to sell a house (unlike FF: Las Vegas, whose kitschy vibe I like but can’t see it going over well with a lot of buyers). Also, given where I’m currently

I loveeee how tacky their aesthetic is on Flip or Flop: Las Vegas. The hosts/couple have the intrigue of paint drying but their gauche taste makes up for it.

Not a yearbook pic, but I came across this copy of Life at work with baby FDR on the cover:

You sound amazing and that’s no joke.

I’m from Worcester (20+ years) and briefly lived in Pittsburgh a couple years back. I wasn’t expecting the latter to be markedly more kind but as soon as I got there people just seemed less annoyed/bothered and noticeably more positive. The Uber drivers (for example) in PGH seemed way more chill and obliged my

Reading your comment left me feeling nauseated. I am so sorry that this happened to you at all but the fact that this piece of shit mocked you/the situation when he saw you again...?? I can’t even begin respond to that.
