Sunroof? Look up from the kart and raise the helmet visor.

I’ll admit I’m not fond of my post or the statements in it.

This is exactly why I don’t want to look into the where abouts of my Mini Cooper - a car I took delivery on my daughter’s birthday, 8yrs before she was born.  And she LOVES Minis (my fault).

I know how it feels to be so sick of the vehicle I drive to want to just be done. I’ve been there, in fact it was the ex’s car that I fixed for her and I drove it 5yrs after divorce before replacing it. It got to the point that the monthly maintainence was equivalent to a car payment. It wasn’t reliable, had 270K

PRND makes me so angr

Agreed.

These aren’t as roomy as one would think.

Simple rule.  Don’t eat in the car.

I’m guessing he’s paid someone else 5 times to fix the BMW and doesn’t want to pay them a 6th time. Because if he tossed wrenches, he’d fix the BMW again and hate on it through social media like he has before.

Absolutely, motors are not directly connected to the wheels but through some kind of reduction gearing. Certainly these gears could be changed to produce different results. Multispeed transmissions are going to happen, if not already existing for EVs. But any manual-like rowing will be done electronically. There

My dog saw the picture, gruffed and said “gray.”

Magenta is often mistakenly called red in another color model.

Limited by the lack of one drive ratio, how so?

The motor location/packaging currently in every EV literally excludes all possibility of there ever being a manual transmission. Even if it were possible, why would one want to introduce more parasitic loss of energy in a vehicle dependent on how efficiently power is transformed to motion (or when braking, charging)?

Sweet take. Even a picture of it on the foyer wall.

The first time I rode a motorcycle I grabbed a handful of front brake and landed on my helmet, sliding through the grass about 20 yards.  I was about 10yrs old.

its her passion!

Riding - its not a question of if you’ll wreck. Its when. Everybody has one, not everybody walks away.

the younger generation doesn’t feel the need to rebel in such a juvenile and facile way.
