They have six brands to maximize their marketing. Each brand fills a niche in the profile of the consumer they want to buy it.

“...nor can they seem to make anything that does well except full size Trucks and SUVs.”

Wait, their wealth can’t be redistributed? :p

Nice.  Did not know that existed.

I went shopping coming from a 25yr/old compact capable of 40mpg. That was my mark. Very difficult mark to hit with a manual transmission now even though engine tech has changed - this was right at the begining of Dieselgate, which changed my shopping because high on the list was a manual golf diesel wagon.

C4C - right. Seeing your 2006 numbers I was thinking what were the restrictions... what measure were people using and where were they going... Thought C4C would be a good capture here. Your grabs are still remarkable tho.

Did some digging on Cash for Clunkers...

Let me get this straight, your coming at me with a “tidy” $5k MINI JCW? I’m not doubting they exist, just the definition of tidy.

MINI is definition of CP, especially JCW. Save money, MINI and JCW are not synonymous.

“Definitely; if just these two states had gone for Clinton, we wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place.”

Any craigslist ad including a line item list of modifications is CP. Prove me wrong.

“GM’s stock price rose 7% on the news.”
