A new car lasts 2yrs before its an old car.  Old cars age based on mileage from beater to clunker, to shit box.  And then it is eligible for antique plates, but only the die hard enthusiast is cut out for it at this point.

This is exactly why the Ranger was canned in the first place. I was in the market and priced them years ago. It was cheaper to get the F150 than the Ranger and they were marketed that way. “Why look at this tiny penis truck... you need a great big truck...”
