A similar “cheat” story I got told by my grandpa. He used to build nascar motors back in the sixties and for one guy he put together something that wasn’t exactly illegal but it wasn’t exactly honest either. The guy didn’t have the budget to run with the big boys at the high speed tracks so my grandpa threw out the

I could go for a panda, especially the 4x4. Then again I'm a weirdo that likes small underpowered cars and thinks they're a blast.

I just looked it up, the pre facelift ones will need at least six years. They started production in 2002. I’ll be waiting at the docks for one with you in 2027, maybe we can start a race series for them here too.

It would be heavy but functional. My dad is looking to toss one into his cobra replica because he can’t make a clutch work anymore.

My wife saw one of these and said it looked like they made it out of silly putty then left it out too long. I don't think she's wrong.

Honda designer loads random drag inducing bits into shotgun.

Heh heh. Muppet face, perfect.

Perfect example of what no supercar designer should ever do. The tr is still very much in the same language as the original while the m looks like they took a piece of paper into a high school art class and said "draw a supercar front end." And then they slapped it on without another thought, it just doesn't fit.

I know a guy with a 4wd regular cab one, but it has 460,000 on it as he commutes 85 miles per day in it five days a week all year. He still adores it though.

They stopped making over-built simple transmissions decades ago for the sake of lightness and haven’t gotten the formula right since. At my present count I’m up to seven e4od and aod-e, and their related derivatives, catastrophic failures so far. I finally got the e4od figured out but gave up on the aod-e.

Got a couple.

So jealous of the xj220. That's my ultimate dream car. I'll never be able to have one and if I did I'd probably be hanged drawn and quartered by the hypercar crowd because I'd have to drive it til the wheels fell off.

I’d hazard a guess that they were so busy adding a truck bed to the back bumper that the forgot to put the rest of it together until they were at the shoot so they just yanked fenders off one of the cars in the parking lot top gear endurance race style

Got a couple and you guys can determine which is worst.

I didn't even know that there was such a museum. After the insanity is all over I'll have to take my mom, those are all of her favorite car brands in one place.

Very true with very few exceptions. I have three people close to me that can't get the vaccine because of immune deficiencies so my family and I will be getting it to protect those that can't. MS is a heartless b*tch.

Persobally I likedifferentbseties for different reasons. F1 is still my favorite current series but back in the day watching group-c screaming around lemans at speeds beyond imagining was fantastic. So I guess I like the technical driving in ovals, the cool aero stuff on open wheel cars, and good competition is always

I actually like car shows but only pay attention to the cars that get driven. You can always tell what’s a trailer queen and what got there under it’s own power and I vastly prefer the latter.

Check state surplus sites and auctions. Corrections departments like awd full size vans(often chevy express) to transport inmates. Unlike say patrol cars, these don’t get driven like maniacs and are often well maintained. You may even occasionally find the odd dually econoline tossed into the mix.

Rats you’ve already blown my budget.
