    Yep. Compare to this:

It’s the Focus front bumper with an extra opening for airflow to the radiator.

The custom wheel is slightly wider to better fit a passenger car tire, as well as being a closer match to the Focus wheels. Since a trike doesn’t lean through turns, it wears out the center of a motorcycle tire pretty quickly. The car tire is better suited to this application.

The lug nuts are not functional. The front wheel is actually the face of two alloy wheels welded back to back.

None of the wooden portions are structural, and what you see has been fiberglass gel-coated for weather resistance.

It is my father that built this trike. He is always building something, and whether you agree/disagree with the styling or powertrain choice, there is a lot of ingenuity going on in this machine. I’ll answer a few of the questions here.

The front wheel is fabricated from two alloy wheels, however they were not Focus wheels (just a similar style).

The trunk doesn’t get any warmer than the footwell of the stock Focus would.

The openings in the bumper vent to one radiator on each side. To answer your question, it has never overheated.

Even though it sounds as though you’re not looking for answers, here are the answers to “why” my father built this.

There’s no need for the skimpy front disc brake when there are two big discs on the rear.
