The D-18E was one of Martin's first attempts to fuck around with acoustic-electric models and apparently the non-amplified tone suffered so badly that they discontinued production. They're kind of a curiosity/novelty now, and they are also post-war so don't sell for the crazy numbers that pre-war Martin dreadnoughts…
