Yeah. I'll just add that the things Vishnevetsky felt weakened the movie, were (in my mind) strengths. Like Fukunaga's "studied" formality and focus on aesthetics. I think those elements helped communicate Agu's brutalized outlook to a more sensitive and removed audience.

Now that some people have actually watched Beasts of No Nation, this is as good a place as any to point out that it was a solid movie and that the AV Club's review didn't do it justice.
