Trump’s plan seems to be huge tariffs, combined with relaxed labor laws. So we’ll end up with more expensive cars, and crappy low-paying jobs.

Yes but to be fair, he’s meeting with the wig-wearing spray-tanned president with ill-fitted suits.
The 25-to-39-year-old age group favor buying new cars, an AutoList.com survey found, and they are more likely to consider the environmental impacts of a car than members of Generation X, those people ranging in age from 40 to 54. Gen Xers, the study found, prefer price, reliability and brand when buying a car.
CP now.
Fix the cigarette lighter…
A buddy of mine just paid 13k for a similar vehicle with 85k miles. This is a NP every day of the week. These things are sneaky quick, although I’m not exactly sure how one would call a 6 liter v8 sneaky. Worst case scenario, if you grenade the engine, it isn’t like a replacement chevy v8 is terribly hard to find. …
8500 dollars for a well maintained V8 cruiser from 2012? This is a steal, even if there’s some miles and wear and tear. NP all day, everyday.
The $50K left over in your bank account just called...
If I had the cash to spend on a toy, this definitely would make the short list.
Although I’m very likely to buy some forgotten Moto Guzzi in dire need of some tough love instead. But this Bimota is cool
I am surprised and kind of disheartened to see how little today’s Jalop voters care about the oddball nature and pedigree of this bike.
Hell, “Yamaha GTS1000" is a regular ebay search for me. I don’t have to go all Italian. I just love those freaky-deaky front ends.
You do know that you cant compare that way right? Otherwise i hope you have the same reaction to why someone pays 800 000+ dollars for a -63 Aston martin DB5 when a -05 Mustang V6 will be faster and much cheaper
Funny. I used to ride a Gixxer (15 years back) but about 5 years ago I took an old TL1000R for a ride and about 5 miles into it my back was locking up and my triceps were burning. And at one time I used to make fun of people on Goldwings....
True, if your are going to splash that cash on a rare Bimota, might as well go full wack and get something with hub steering.
Not as drop dead gorgeous as the Ducati 916-998. But it has a Suzuki motor that is as reliable as a stone axe and does not have the $1,500 every 6,000 miles for rockers and belts that the Ducati demands. Deeply committed riding position that will punish you in city riding but reward you anywhere in that 60-100MPH…
As cool as this is, if I was ever going to buy a Bimota, it would have to be something with hub steering.
Damn...I love the looks of Bimota bikes. But my crotch rocket days are well behind me. On this particular frame, I’d give it about 15 minutes on the saddle before my back starts to spasm and my legs cramp up.
I’m so about this car.
Some people, depending on the circumstance, will pay a premium for the nostalgia and simplicity. I honestly don’t see this particular car quite worth what they are asking, but I don’t see a 2000s S-Class with adaptive cruise or any other option being of any relevance.
I voted NP (because their is always some room for negotiation) with essentially the same thoughts as your’s.
