I don’t give two shits about C&D, who were telling EVERYONE this car was running AWD a month ago.
I still think you read too much into magazine testing.
These numbers are NHRA certified, right? How is that less credible than MOTORTREND that has auto journalists running the strip in reverse?
It’s a motherfucking from-the-factory 800+ horsepower 9 second car with a warranty. Over promise under deliver?
They never said 10's stock. They said 10's on slicks. I’ve personally seen Hellcats on slicks to 10's.
They said with the standard tires on it it runs a 9.9 on pump gas. Not bad. You get the extra 45hp and .25 in the quarter with skinnies and the race gas. Will still pull wheelies on the front rims...

I’m missing why people think the numbers are meaningless. Sure there are variances in the track environmentals but overall i think it is a fairly consistent metric. Honestly, no different than any other brochure number. HP/TQ are meaningless unless considered by weight and coefficient of drag among other factors. Were…
Here’s a handy guide for how to react:
still looks mostly good though
I also saw an average of about 27 MPG on my tester’s cluster, which aligns well with our 4x4 Limited’s 22 MPG city, 30 MPG highway, and 25 MPG combined EPA fuel economy rating.
