Ideally I wouldn’t let them in. In the real world I’m either in a 911 or a m4 and the arsewipe who’s lane cutting is usually in a giant pickup or SUV. I grit my teeth and let them in.

A zipper merge would imply a safe merge into moving traffic well before the exit with no clear intention to overtake traffic.
