Judging by how testing has been going for the 2017 McLaren, asking Honda for an all new engine isn’t a particularly bright idea.

The wheels are hideous.

This was inevitable. I’m sure the R will still command a small premium to MSRP ($200kish) assured by the very limited numbers built but the days of $500k+ transactions are done.

UK proxy that lets you use iPlayer. I’ve tried free solutions but found them to be unreliable, slow and detectable as a proxy to the BBC. My brother lives in London and has a private proxy for me to use over a high bandwidth connection. I’m fairly certain you could get similar results using a paid VPN.

That must have been an incredible experience. Did he keep any sort of journal/log of his journey? I can’t even begin to imagine what that must have been like. My dad’s folks were originally from Bangalore and my grandad had stories about it taking him a week to fly to DC to go to school at Johns Hopkins in the mid

It was exactly what I wanted (I have a UK proxy for iPlayer). It felt fresh and substantial. The Ferrari segment was hair raisingly good. The Kazakh road trip was solid fun (props to Mr Reid for picking the perfect car for the job imo) and the camerawork was as good as ever. The only thing that fell a bit flat was

I don’t think its ugly but I wouldn’t call it gorgeous either. If we’re being obnoxious its a solid 7/10. My problem is that it looks slightly fat. It looks like it is a little too high up off the ground and front doesn’t slope down enough.

Please say this comes in the batshit Turbo S trim.

Sadly I think its the future of the exotic/supercar market. Porsche aren’t even alone, Ferrari and Lamborghini are both doing really well on limited edition versions of standard models. It would be silly if Porsche didn’t tap this well too. I’m just glad I got a NA 911 that didn’t cost me as much as an R (2016 991.1

I’d say 500k is still bubble territory. An the new GT3 will use pretty much the same 4.0 that the R uses. ~500 hp 4.0 you can pretty much bet its related to the R engine (which is identical to the one in the GT3RS).

Most NA Porsches are rock solid, blue chip investments and have been for some time. The 911R is not one of them at anything over $200,000 USD. The 991.2 GT3 is imminent with the same 6MT transmission and 500 bhp 4.0 NA engine. The moment it hits the R bubble will pop.

God that McLaren is gorgeous. One of the prettiest F1 cars ever imo. Back in the good old days when they could still compete for wins and championships. The new cars looks pretty nice too but the noses mostly look overdone. The new Renault is a real looker imo.

I kinda like the fins. They add to the swept back, aggressive looks of the new cars. LMP1 has had them for years too.

They were in trouble the moment they lost Kante. He was the key to their compact, counter heavy style from last year. Mahrez provided the spark and Vardy finished but Kante kept initiating every move.

Any Uber. I sometimes use it for my 15 mile commute to work if its raining too hard (both my cars are low slung sports cars) or even if i’m not feeling to great. The $15-20 that it would cost me is completely work the lack of stress.

I haven’t valeted any of my cars in over 10 years. My girlfriends over that time have had to wait a few months before I let them behind the wheel. I can’t even imagine pimping my cars out over the internet. It blows my mind.

HUGE SAVINGS are deflationary.

If its actually on the airplane’s on VOD system they cut all nudity out. I watched Wolf Of Wall Street once on a LHR-IAH United flight and they zoomed into the faces for some scenes and completely cut the orgy on the boat. If you brought your own entertainment you’d obviously be careful to use a screen protector and

While I wouldn’t advise anybody in a non lifted vehicle from driving into a foot of water, it doesn’t surprise me at all to see BMWs stranded all over the place. Its a combination of a really poor choice of location for critical electronic components (low) and a lot of leased up owners who’re not really the most

This looks great. I’d like to think it will do really well too. A lot of 6 series/mercedes SL owners I know constantly complain about the unreliability of their cars. They’d jump at the chance to own a Lexus that ticks all the same boxes, looks better and will outlast most of them. While I like the idea of a NA V8
