I believe this is the right answer.

Agreed. Tesla has miles to go before they get to the “mid-trim Volkswagen” interior level. They’re not even in the ballpark of the S class

Because glossy black plastic trim is cheap and lazy. It’s only in the last 10-15 years that it’s become commonplace. When it’s clean, and in photos, it gives the car an aura of modernist appeal. But the realities of day-to-day car use mean tons of dust and smudges. And yes you can clean it, but it will be dirty two

I hate the piano black interior trim on my car and I'm not sure why Mercedes would use it since it isn't a premium material. The fingerprints are annoying but the biggest problem is sun reflecting into my eyes off the trim. I would guess potential s class buyers would feel the same way.

Insulting to the Genesis, which looks better.

The S-Class was never the most advanced car in the world. It was always supposed to be one of the most luxurious cars in the world that also happened to be advanced.

But, as it is a car, and you know these surfaces will be touched, why not use a finish that doesn’t just attract fingerprints? For example, matte-finish wood looks classy and you don’t leave pawprints everywhere.

I’m feeling more and more confident that he will go down in flames in November. I just hope he grabs the GOP’s ankle as he’s going down the drain. They could have stopped this at any time. They could have installed Pence and gotten all the judges and corporate handouts they want without the chaos.  They chose to stand

We’ve been reminded of Tesla’s failures in terms of working conditions over and over recently. While certain procedures could work out there is no faith in Tesla implementing them right or even trying to. He needs to go spend time with his newborn MAC address and wait all this out, maybe get some sleep. The world

“...acting contrary to ... the President...”

Here’s what I don’t get: aren’t Tesla buyers most likely to fully believe in the pandemic, climate change and dislike Trump? Seems like he may push people away from his cars.

Musk is a moron. But he is not that stupid. He will join others like Thiel and just fund a SuperPAC supporting Trump.

I’m calling it.

Best part is that the factory will still be there when he sells it and the state can buy it for next to nothing!

How long before he goes to rehab for “exhaustion.”

Yes Elon, throw away millions of dollars you invested in a factory in order to spite California for *checks notes* taking a deadly global pandemic seriously.  That’ll really own the libs and keep the investors happy!

Peekaboo!

Dear Elon: Take a poll of your workers. Figure out how many of them feel safe and comfortable working before the situation has calmed. Better yet, take a poll of your executive board (doubtless working remotely) and ask them if they’re comfortable working on assembly line conditions. Include yourself. And then think

She says January was “not that nice” after the movie came out, to the point where she wondered where “the love” for the series had gone.

“Hell, The Last Jedi was one of the best things to happen to this series in decades” - as someone who has Harmy’s Despecialized Editions of the OT in glorious HD, allow me to kindly say: bullshit. ;)
