That’s actually a big part of all this. The WGA stipulations for the new contract included an item saying that the studios could not use AI to write scripts or provide re-writes for scripts. Studio response to that was to try to amend that item to make it a yearly conversation with the WGA as the technology evolves.

Yeah producers know what they can and cannot do. They just whining hoping for sympathy. Its really simple, they can either use the script as is, or not. If they go with “or not”, they are stuck with the consequences of moving forward.

It's a ban on the sale of new ICE vehicles, not a ban on the vehicles themselves. Huge difference.

writers will get angry if you try to pay them way less for their work

It doesn’t sound like they didn’t prepare for it.  It’s that they decided it’s a price they’re willing to pay in order to not pay their writers.

Yep. Corporate executives usually know ahead of time whenever something that will affect them and their profit is about to occur; economic downturns and worker mobility. I still remember a certain executive CEO literally warning other CEOs about the rise of unions during the pandemic’s peak.

Oh, they were prepared. They urged writers to hurry up and do as much work as possible before the deadline, and they ordered fewer pilots than usual because they didn’t want to pay for the lease on studio space if a strike shut down production. It means they're not calling their own witnesses.

All I took from this is that Hayden Christensen and Adam Brody can’t fuck.

Sure, it made 237 horsepower, but you had to rev the hell out of it to get there.”

It’s not hidden at all, people just refuse to see it.

Are we still on this “missionary is vanilla” bullshit? If any position is vanilla, it’s doggy, the position humans and animals have been doing since the dawn of sex. Besides, missionary gives you easy access to the front, and there’s a lot of fun stuff on people’s fronts.

If you want good writing you're going to have to pay for it.

...yeah, I don’t have a problem with the ANES, I’m saying the study used in the graph is from a pilot survey. It’s given to a tiny sample of people to test the verbiage and logistics before handing out the real Sample-Size survey to the larger pool. It’s literally just QA.
