The Cavs got the nod from the league the same way any team gets instant fans when they have to play against the Patriots in the Superbowl.

I hear you, but counterpoint: if everyone hates Golden State now, what happens if they have the best regular season AND playoff records? How much hate-watching did LeBron get in Miami and that team wasn’t nearly as good as the Warriors (with a similar narrative)?

C-Webb and Co got screwed and unlike Dirk and the Mavs, never got any redemption, sadly.

It all comes down to what the league sees as the “better story.”

I dunno - a sweep here is probably more memorable than anything else the playoffs have served up this year. 16-0 is one for the history books.

I want to say that’s not exactly how it works but then I look at the 2006 finals and idk. GS going 16-0 would be good, not great, for the league still, though.

The league will make sure this isn’t a sweep. Those days are long gone.

This game sucks. I am NOT ENTERTAINED!

All this anticipation for a sweep.

Well, we know what type of fuel it doens’t use.

Yeah, I’m with you. 150k miles on my Phaeton and not a single stored fault.

Star Wars Pasta. Not as good as the regular stuff. 4/10 wouldn’t eat again.

Michael Keaton’s real name is Michael Douglas. Also, he is a Diane Keaton fan.

Right. Which is why it’s confusing that the cause for her “losing out on jobs” is, allegedly, based on her now being known as a “liar.”

Shit... that’s amazing casting right there.
