Weren’t these things held together with zip ties and wood blocks even just a couple years ago?

I work for a local county government office and came across a sov cit twice in 20 years. I always think it’s astounding that they believe that the rules/laws don’t apply to them, while simultaneously thinking they can use the same laws against others. You’re going to file a judgement against me? With what court??

Someone already mentioned the Mitsubishi Eclipse turning into an SUV.

Aye, matie! The gold fringe of the maritime court.

As a SovCit would say, “I know my rights!”**

**...which don’t apply to me because I’m not a citizen.

The funniest part of SovCits is when they simultaneously claim the law doesn’t apply to them while also threatening to sue. SUE? In a court that you don’t recognize as having jurisdiction over you?  How's that going to work?

In before the EV idiots chime in with the “EVs don’t have any moving parts and never wear out” garbage. Yes, the electric motor and battery are less maintenance than an ICE motor. But other than that, EVs have all the other bits that an ICE car has, from bearings, shocks, fluids (sometimes more fluids than an ICE),

as long as you can get past that hard plastic dash. Still better than the plastic Playschool dash the Nissan minivans sported of the era, but still.  Yuck

No matter how much you simp for him, he won’t fcuk you.  Jesus, go touch some grass.  Apparently Mr Beast simps are almost bad as Elon simps.

As the article already touched on, the Prius should not go electric. EVs, while destined to the the future of the auto world (until something better comes along), EVs do not fit every situation. Long drives, areas with little infrastructure, apartment dwellers, etc. It’s clear ICE will be with us for the foreseeable

I know - was just using his district as an extreme example.

Also know that TX would probably be blue if not for gerrymandering. so there’s that. I mean, Jim Jordan’s district is so specifically drawn to keep him elected it literally cuts around certain blocks and homes just to get the needed votes...

You forgot another great take on Sherlock, a little show called House MD on Fox...

Then they better price it like a Toyota Coro...welp, this is awkward,

Anyone else underwhelmed by the power figures? 212 HP? Under 300 for the dual motor? I get that they have high torque, but this sounds pretty mid.
I drive a twin scroll diesel sedan that has 295HP and 460LBS/ft torque, with a lot of that right off of idle.

I’m kinda disappointed 😞

The CLI version of the Ford Taurus was not what I expected. Nor easy to find...

If you live outside a CARB state I would go with any modern diesel that has had the emissions components deleted. Granted this would put you at odds with the EPA, but if you live in a state that doesn’t check, most diesel motors (minus the emissions stuff) will last forever. I own several with well over 250K miles

Yeah, I can’t believe I read an entire article bashing an auto brand because...checks article again...Apple switched to USB C.

For Dogs sake, you’d have to buy a new cord anyways if you want to use any other charge brick to charge your phone. But nope, its Kia/Hyundai’s fault apparently.

*AHEM*

While EVs have much fewer drivetrain parts compared to ICE vehicles, they still have as many auxiliary parts as an ICE vehicle. Bearings, springs, CV joints, shocks, brake pads and calipers (they are more complicated brakes than ICE with regen braking), much more complicated cooling systems (ever seen a Tesla

I’d rather have the Xiaomi car than this.
