As the article already touched on, the Prius should not go electric. EVs, while destined to the the future of the auto world (until something better comes along), EVs do not fit every situation. Long drives, areas with little infrastructure, apartment dwellers, etc. It’s clear ICE will be with us for the foreseeable…
I know - was just using his district as an extreme example.
Also know that TX would probably be blue if not for gerrymandering. so there’s that. I mean, Jim Jordan’s district is so specifically drawn to keep him elected it literally cuts around certain blocks and homes just to get the needed votes...
You forgot another great take on Sherlock, a little show called House MD on Fox...
Then they better price it like a Toyota Coro...welp, this is awkward,
Anyone else underwhelmed by the power figures? 212 HP? Under 300 for the dual motor? I get that they have high torque, but this sounds pretty mid.
I drive a twin scroll diesel sedan that has 295HP and 460LBS/ft torque, with a lot of that right off of idle.
I’m kinda disappointed 😞
The CLI version of the Ford Taurus was not what I expected. Nor easy to find...
If you live outside a CARB state I would go with any modern diesel that has had the emissions components deleted. Granted this would put you at odds with the EPA, but if you live in a state that doesn’t check, most diesel motors (minus the emissions stuff) will last forever. I own several with well over 250K miles…
Yeah, I can’t believe I read an entire article bashing an auto brand because...checks article again...Apple switched to USB C.
For Dogs sake, you’d have to buy a new cord anyways if you want to use any other charge brick to charge your phone. But nope, its Kia/Hyundai’s fault apparently.
*AHEM*
While EVs have much fewer drivetrain parts compared to ICE vehicles, they still have as many auxiliary parts as an ICE vehicle. Bearings, springs, CV joints, shocks, brake pads and calipers (they are more complicated brakes than ICE with regen braking), much more complicated cooling systems (ever seen a Tesla…
I’d rather have the Xiaomi car than this.
Dave, a champion of black folk? The same miserable prick that not only spoke out against low-income housing (which helps those in need including POC), but threatened to pull his investment in the city over it? That champion of black folk??
CA requires a car to pass smog PRIOR to a sale, so “needs a tune up” in order to run doesn’t fly here. Not sure how they will get around that.
Let me just say that it worth following THERE_I_RUINED_IT on Instagram. He does some very impressive AI voice training. And yes, me mostly ruins the songs you love too...
From my experience, Kia Financial doesn’t care about the owner at all. My wife leased a Stinger GT (one of the first deliveries made, came with a bunch of “thank you” swag from the manufacturer). She then passed away three months later. She drove it less than 5 times.
From what I understand when the prior owner went under they lost the ability to use Saabs IP. This means that the body, which is obviously a Saab design, would most likely need to change.
This has already been reviewed in places it has been released. It’s NOT that great in corners, and trying out the power severely drains the battery...
Shouldn’t this be titled “Nissan wants to show more concept cars they have no intentions to sell”?
