Correct! Kia/Hyundai’s E-GMP platform is modular and can be made longer or shorter to accommodate different vehicles. This means one or two motor versions and different sized battery packs depending on use.

When my wife passed three months after leasing a Kia Stinger GT1 I contacted Kia to inform them the leaser passed. They straight up told me that if I turned in the lease early they would auction it off (to themselves no less) and I would owe the balance from the sale. No sympathy and no program if the owner dies.
