Get a Passat TDI. It shames the Toureg in interior space (closest in size to the Audi A8). You could fit a Toureg in the Passat trunk. And the car gets 50 MPG on the freeway.

Meh, ALH/AUH engine swaps are a dime a dozen, since they are the last of the older style TDI motors and easy to transplant. I’ve seen plenty of Caddy’s, Audi TTs (MK4 swaps are the easiest as they all share the same platform), and Sciroccos to get my fill.
