Have you seen Joe Rogan’s white Sharkwerks GT3 RS? You should see Joe Rogan’s white Sharkwerks GT3 RS.

Well there’s always the 987/981 generations of the Boxster/Cayman that rev to about 7200 to 7800 depending on the engine and MY. Or there’s something like the Mustang GT350 with it’s 8200 rpm limit. Sure, high rpm engines aren’t common, or cheap, but they’re around!

An excuse to share a pic of my kitteh? Sure why not.

1 in a billion?

Yeah, even if the game itself doesn’t turn out great (though I’m digging what I see in the trailer), that soundtrack already sounds fantastic.

Sure, but as much as some would have us believe otherwise, he still hasn’t taken away our right to bear arms or come knocking for my 1911 or Remington 870. Does it suck that I my Kriss Super V can’t be full auto here in California? Yup it sure does, but that’s the State’s fault.

Yeah I was speaking strictly price-wise and with cars that immediately came to my mind as things I’d prefer, but you’re right it’ll probably be more GT which is absolutely fine.

No you’re probably right that this’ll be more Grand Tourer than pure sports car, but one can always hope.

Well, they’ve put themselves squarely into 911/GT-R/R8 territory. Here’s hoping it’s less RC and more LF-A in the performance department.

I test drove an FR-S and BRZ back in 2012. I ended up in a used 2007 Cayman S for a few grand more because it was everything I wanted the Toyobaru to be, and knew I would need to spend more than a few extra grand in aftermarket parts chasing that performance goal. What’s more a base Cayman or Boxster would have been

Yeah, I’m actually using that with FO4 right now and love it. I appreciated that it gives you the option of choosing just how aware NPC’s are for your chosen darkness level. I’m guessing this was possible due to the fact that NPC perception was already tied to light levels in the vanilla code. Unfortunately it doesn’t

This is the thing I was worried about. Had a similar experience back in FO3 when I tried one of the “realistic dark nights” mods . It was great and atmospheric, but it was so annoying to not be able to see well enough to hit an enemy outside of vats while they could snipe me off as usual. At least night vision helped

Same! It’s kind of awesome that we live in a time where graphics have hit that point and will only get better from here.

As a 987.1 owner, I’m willing to wait and see. The LeMans and WEC winning 919 is based around a turbo 4 cylinder after all, so it’s not like the company has zero recent experience with making something go extremely quickly with them. I’m going to keep an open mind is all I’m saying.

At times, this feels like the Friday Night Lights of year-end videos ...

Yeah, that’s the moment I went from unsure to “FF XV movement (and maybe combat) system confirmed”. Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing.

+1 for asking the important questions!

I tend to agree with gokartmozart here. It’s probably more likely that they wanted to spend most of their time/effort on their flagship next-gen versions, rather than some sort of intentional attempt to shaft previous-gen console owners. Game devs don’t have infinite resources so a compromise had to be made somewhere.

DCT only though, which takes a bit of the visceral away. Shame, that.
