While I generally agree with your premise, it's not like it'd be sequels made from scratch. Even though the movie had a pretty clear arc, it was culled from a very small part of much larger narrative that Miyazaki crafted and told via manga.

So, I enjoyed 1.0 and 2.0 well enough. I take it you're saying I shouldn't bother seeking out 3.0?
Nausicaa (more specifically the butchered Warriors of the Wind) was my first exposure to anime sometime around the age of 6. It blew my mind, and it was my personal Star Wars - that movie that totally transfixed me and showed me a new world for the first time.
For whatever reason I had a blast with PR. It's like he made the thing aimed directly at my inner 10 year old. But hey, everyone's different and thems the breaks.
Well to be fair, neither did something like the Matrix which heavily cribbed all of its ideas from various philosophies, religions, and past martial arts/action movies, but damn did I still love it.
Did anyone else get mildly creeped out when the guy was holding an unpainted prototype in his hand, and it looked like it was trying to suction itself on to his arm and start feeding?
My personal favorite is the one where Walter goes into hiding, starting a whole new life which results in Malcolm in the Middle.
I thought the layering in of all the other family dynamics underneath the main story was really well done.
:the spoilers, they still exist:
Hah, no not at all, but kinda?
::ending spoilers::
I had this exact thought as I was playing through the game.
Don't! It's a really quick and easy 2-3 hours, and the atmosphere and story telling on display here is totally worth it.
:Spoilers abound!!:
Having just finished this game I can say I completely agree with everything about this review.
But not if Elize doesn't get something to eat soon...
Well, you could just use an adapter and bingo, problem solved (if you're ok with manual glass). Too bad the adapter also adds another 2 inches onto the length of the lens though =/ <—NEX-5n shooter.
I didn't go CPO. All of the ones available as CPO at the time that had the same specs as this one (basically fully loaded, just no PASM which I was fine with) were priced closer to 39k.
Yup.
