Seems like you got a screaming deal from what I’ve seen on those planes. Great find!

Use to do the same thing on the bus ride to work, it was a great way to unwind since I didn’t have to focus on anything. I miss those days.

This is very very high-level, not very useful. There’s so many subjects that go into each, science for example could be anything from chemistry to psychology or physiology. In my opinion, it should be about the degree and what industry you work in with that degree.

I’ve cooked bacon my charcoal grill now several times without much issue. I tend to cook it indirect for about 10 minutes or so (I think). Very little issue with flare ups and I get a nice smokey flavor. If I want a little extra crunch I do cook it direct for about 1-2 minutes right before its done. The dripping

Had all my Christmas lights hooked to these guys this year. I don’t use them all season long but I’ve found at least a few uses throughout the year that make them handy to keep in a drawer. They’re a good buy when on sale.

I’m pretty terrible at math in my head, multiplying 55 by 1.61 is not something that comes easily to me. I agree the higher numbers are a bit more difficult. There is no simple golden equation or rule that will answer every single problem out there, at some point, we’ll have to use calculators and spreadsheets.

Running for starters. One of my good friends I run with is from Canada and generally measures her runs km, so knowing how far that is in miles helps me. That’s a practical example I could use this for every week. I get it not everyone will, but a handy approach nevertheless.

A life hack I can use!

Haven’t had those yet but I do enjoy the Morningstar Black Bean Burgers. Not quite the point of this story but still good IMO

I had the 3k itch when I bought it and it’s done its job. I’d say get it, it’s a pretty decent price even if you’re not 100% satisfied.

Ah, gotcha. I agree that this is all assuming the evaluation is lacking a quality review. I would love to do this with my company/boss if I get a review like this but our corporate structure really isn’t set up in a way that allows others to know/see what our team does every week. A very good idea for others though!

I wish this was true!!! I think its completely unfair to only be evaluated by managers, I’m a huge believer that employees should have the opportunity to review their managers. I’m not saying that to be vindictive against my managers, past or present, I honestly think they would benefit from knowing the good and bad

When you say a follow-up review, what do you mean specifically? My review is a little over a month away right and I only get one opportunity for it. If this does happen to me, I’d like to be able to know specifically what to ask for. Are you indicating you should ask for another manager to review you, or to have a

Where’s LH’s black friday list of deals? Someone needs to get back on that haha

Yeah me too, if there was I’d do it. I’m not a fan of the wheels on my TravelPro, even though I love the bag otherwise.

I give a quick wash with my hand using soap and warm water most mornings but never use the brush thing. I’ve been here for almost 4 years and not sure I’ve ever seen it changed

So you can’t do this if you have a spinner? ...bummer

I have the clip on mine but I felt like it never helped much. I’ve done the cord down the back too but found its just easier for me to run down the front and I don’t notice it bouncing any more. I guess it moves with my shirt which is just normal for me. Good idea down the back though, I know some people definitely

For the headphone cord that’s too long or you don’t like it bouncing around, just run it inside your shirt and out the sleeve to your armband (if you have one). It’s what I do and I can’t run any other way now. Also keeps the jolting of each step from tugging at the earpods, maybe that’s just me, but I hate that.
