Depends on where he’s from, dealer options on LCs where I live go from tinted windows and bull bars to bulletproof glass and all the way to level 7 armor (way, way more than $120k by the way)

My dad loves old Jaguars but they do require tons of work, doesn’t have any V12s though. His XJ6 had also a mysterious clonking sound in the front suspension and it ended up being a loose front swaybar bushing (which couldn’t be seen until the whole front of the car was disassembled).
How much money did it eat afterwards though?
From context and looks I’m inclined to think it’s probably not Beetle based but instead based on the first generation Gol.
Maybe, I come from Jalopnik, I think I might be ungreyed over there as you say.
I think likes and replies get comments out of the grey. After a while if you comment frequently you’ll get ungreyed automatically. I haven’t been commenting much lately so back to the grey I went I guess.
Didn’t find it but I just saw his Kimmel interview and it’s hilarious. Fun to think how there’s probably still tons of porn VHS tapes distributed all over the world in basements and boxes and everywhere.
There are few, but Wrangler, Land Cruiser, and in markets outside of the US Hilux, MU-X, L200, Montero, and I’m sure a few others. It’d be fun to make a complete list.
Back in highscool my friends and I had a couple of VHS tapes we’d share. I just remembered to put it back in my backpack one morning right before school and when I got back home a lightning strike had damaged the VCR and it had been sent in for repairs, that was a close call. Many of my friends weren’t so lucky.
That’s not far from the truth, guy I know didn’t like his neighbor’s house (on a private island with about 12 houses) so he bought it, demolished it and made a really nice deck where it was.
There are also superautomatic machines where you just pour the whole coffee beans in the back and the machine does all the rest if you want to get fancy; they’re expensive but still cheaper in the long run.
I was also thinking this but maybe, not expecting to be there for a long time her mom parked in “N” and put the handbrake on. I think many automatics start in “N” but not in “D” and there’s no interlock between the two.
48 volt system probably needed by the electric turbo; replacing the other accessories is just the icing on the cake.
Alright, now stance it
The trick with the MGB is to go to the single downdraft carburetor conversion, my dad used to have one and it was very reliable actually.
If you look at the values of E-types, the smaller the engine, the more valuable the car; so maybe these will be worth the big money in 50 years?
Whoa I’m glad he managed to survive that, don’t think I’ve ever seen an accident with more difference in damage between the two vehicles.
There’s been a Morgan with a V8 since 1968, no LS1s that I know of but the latest one has a 367 hp BMW V8 which, I’m guessing makes it “interesting” to drive.
The spare tire seems to have taken a big part of the impact, from memory I thought it was mounted to the chassis but looking at your pictures it appears to me it’s not. I’m guessing the doors will need some readjusting.
