I find the door open with keys in ignition the most annoying one, they also don’t have the red and yellow side reflectors I think.

You could be doing something that isn’t wrong, but is embarrassing still.

I’m wary of “babied” cars, usually someone who never revs past 3k, only drives to church on Sundays is the kind of person to never check their tire pressures, forget an oil change and such. Or such is my thinking.

Haha, in that case let me know when you want to get rid of it, yours seems the one to go for.

I’m far from being a grandmother but there are terrible speed bumps, potholes and bad roads where I live to the point that even a WRX would probably be bottoming out and blowing tires frequently so this would be the next best thing, and it’s cheaper (and also it’s way WAAAY cheaper than a Safari air cooled 911, which

You may be right about the punch, the CVT I’ve driven is my mother’s Forester XT and when hitting the throttle you don’t really feel the acceleration, although it’s there, next thing you notice you’re going way way too fast. (Haven’t tried getting the front end up though) In any case it feels very smooth, a bit like

I’m seriously considering one for my next car but it’s crazy expensive where I live, also it’s a few years old so I’m waiting to see what they replace it with.

It moves, I’d always read horrible things about CVTs so I tried it expecting to hate it and it’s good. Seems all of our moms have Foresters, hehe.

Yup, driving in most third world countries is SLOW, yet for highway driving I’ve noticed Mexico is faster than the US by about 20-30%.

This would be interesting actually, from what I’ve seen maybe WRX or 90's Honda Civic would probably take the win.

There was an article some months ago about a Ford EcoSport taxi in NYC that had an “average” speed of about 25 MPH if I remember well so yeah, that’s probably it or a Semi as mentioned by someone else already.

Hehe, I rented a 500 in Miami a few months ago, obviously the smallest engine automatic. Kept up with pretty much everything on the highway, even a Porsche Turbo doing way more than the speed limit.

Tires, the same reason most cars are limited at 155.

Haha, convinced my mom to buy one a few months ago and now (even though I hate CUVs) I’m thinking it’s probably the perfect day to day car.

My mom bought the turbo Forester with the CVT and that thing can move, I thought I’d hate the CVT after everything I’ve read about them but it works pretty well. Better than most autos I’ve tried, even.

I was thinking more of the Forester actually, think there’s a manual available

Well you could buy a Chevy Volt in the meantime.

Probably just to prove it can be done, and get to know what exactly got damaged and how much.

Then again if you want to look like you’ve got a house in Martha’s Vineyard a pristine 30 year old Wagoneer would be the car to go for.

Then again, if you want to look really, REALLY rich then what you need is a pristine Wagoneer
