That’s just stupid and wasteful, I live in Guatemala and I’m sure that all those non compliant cars are much cleaner than pretty much everything else on the road here and in many other similar countries. Destroying the cars is not an environmental option.

The Peugeot in particular is not very attractive in person.

Wait, this is a good looking toaster oven, don’t see the problem with it.

200hp in this would be very, very fun. Even 140-150 would be nice.

*only works above 88 mph

My thoughts exactly, I love how it looks and would seriously consider one if they make a sporty model with around 160hp for Latin America.

I know a garage that works for them, cars are bought and repaired outside of the US mostly, but done to a very high standard.

They’re restored outside the US mostly, so less labor costs; but they are done to a very high standard.

Don’t think so, bumpy track so you need some suspension travel for better traction, maybe something like an Ariel Atom V8 could do a better time, but it’s so light it might skip in the corners and lose speed.

They would look amazing doing it though, loads of sideways action!

Probably has a remote kill switch like those on monster trucks.

I would be willing to bet that that car has a fast acting remote controlled kill switch that possibly even applies the brakes to prevent that from happening.

Damn! That one was a good show.

From what I read they have batteries in the trucks and pantographs that automatically raise and lower, so for junctions like the one in your picture they could have just the straight cables up to the junction, then automatically go to battery power for the junction and back up to another straight cable after that

I was thinking this, the “keys in ignition with door open” chime is obsolete and stupid nowadays, especially with keyless ignition. It’s so common to hear it that people become accustomed to hearing chimes and ignoring them.

Well, we’re restoring an E-type together.

There’s really no reason to hold others back if you can avoid it. Assume the car weaving and trying to go as fast as possible is having an emergency or driving his wife in labor to the hospital and let him/her through. If it’s not an emergency, who cares? Now you don’t have anyone riding your rear bumper and you made

No, no, no, he’s got it all wrong. Where he needs to enhance is the bottom of the windshield to get the VIN.
