Well, she is bored 030 over, with a lumpy cam, Edelbrock intake, Holley 650 Hooker headers, and a few other bits.... But she’s also got a 3.90 diff, and a points ignition, so she’s revving higher than necessary while running really rich
My low record is six point something, I want to say 6.8 in my ‘74 Corvette.... And it’s high record? I’ve done 10.5mpg on several highway trips
My car’s 20 years older than I am, and really, it’s pretty good. The heat works, got 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, power windows, and 4 on the floor with a big V8!
Heck man, my Z was $2100 per year here in BC for full coverage collision/comprehensive plus 3mil of liability... And that’s in Canadian dollars!
