February 20th, the Canada Revenue Agency opens NETFILE for electronic tax submissions, and it’s done for another year. I should be getting a nice refund, which means T Top seals and weather stripping for the vette, and paying for the brake calipers I just installed, and maybe a bit left over for insurance!
My new years resolution for 2017 was to spend less than $5k fixing/restoring/upgrading/maintaining that damn Corvette.
After a two shocking weeks of -15 and snow, we are back to our regularly scheduled west coast weather. Yesterday it rained, and today it was sunny and hit 9 degrees!
Got my two lower wisdom teeth out today, one was pretty impacted but the other had grown in normally.

Pulled apart the parking brake boot on my new 1974 Stingray, I’m boiling it. Hopefully the plastic will flatten out and I can glue a backing plate on it so it’ll slide instead of getting all bunched up.
I’m going to look at a 1974 Stingray on Thursday, and because it’s a couple ferry rides away from civilisation, I don’t have the option of getting it professionally inspected. However, I’m taking a mechanic student along with me, and between the two of us, might be able to spot a few problems
