In general I find that 10,000 steps is what it takes for me to eat what I want within reason and not have a calorie surplus so that’s why I stick with that number. But it’s not surprising that it’s just some arbitrary thing out of nowhere.

It is true that Vigano is using this to settle a grudge and wage a culture war. It is also true (and this is where Brwnskngurl gets blinded by zeal) that Pope Francis opened the door for that attack by protecting pedophiles.
Two terrible things can be (and are) true at the same time: that the Pope is shielding priests who have committed abuse, and that the far-right wing of the Church is using that fact to take him and the left wing of the Church down for reasons completely unrelated to any concern for children.
