I would have nominated you for a COTD, but your car sounds were a little off.

Yeah. I lived in the suburbs west of Philly, and there was quite a bit of flooding, even though we never really got hit by the hurricane itself.
True. I live on the west coast now...
+1
Well I don't think that the upper East coast really needs to worry that much. In the years I lived there, we got plenty of hurricane warnings, but most of the time they went out to sea before they did any damage. The only one which was a problem was Hurricane Floyd (I believe that was in 2000), but really, all that…
Ok, I wasn't aware, the original story wasn't entirely clear there. I guess we'll have to see how it turns out, but I can imagine that wheels can receive the same stress with spirited driving on the street, depending on what tires you're using. Should be interesting.
Apparently the "competitive event" disclaimer was added to their online warranty after the guy reported his broken wheel, and he has screenshots to prove it. I guess we'll find out when it goes to court.
Uh yeah. The picture, and the post that you link, are pretty clear that the spelling is "Rihanna".
Aw man, no HT? http://jalopnik.com/oppositelock/forum?post=53654794
Had to laugh at the ticker on the video preview: "Broncos looking to make a statement with AFC win"
This. I totally want a rally-style gearbox with a mechanical sequential shifter. Is what you described what Ken Block has in his Fiesta, or is there something different going on there?
Compare this to the vehicle I currently drive to work: a custom 1989 Chevy C1500, lowered with plenty of power adders.
Apparently you will have the ability to make custom vinyls as well.
Change the icon to gold instead, get more bang for your buck that way. Just right-click on the link in your start menu, select "Properties", go to the "shortcut" tab, and choose the gold icon.
Are there car clubs ala Forza 4?
Matt said in a later question that you will get some automatic reward cars at the beginning of the game if you already own them in Forza 4.
Like Matt said, it keeps track of how you do in each of the challenges, like leaderboards. You can go back and redo a challenge, and run it against the ghost of someone on your friends list. This feature works in the demo as well.
While I can agree with most of those, I have to say that #7 is the reason why so many college students complain that they can't find a job. There's no shame in working for minimum wage; it's better than being unemployed. I make $10.50 an hour at my current part-time job as a student, but I started out at minimum wage.…
Yep. Drove a offroad gokart powered by a pressure washer motor for a while on Sunday evening, felt like Ken Block gymkhanaing around all kinds of shit (even if I was 15 inches too tall for the thing). No video game can get you that kind of feeling.
Amen. Preaching to the choir, brother!
