Which is still peanuts in a world where you can make 6 figures with a decent college education. I pay over $2500 per quarter (3 of them in an academic year) after my scholarships. Post-secondary education isn't a right, it's an investment which you can choose to make or not make.
And the only reason that Emergency Bill 78 was passed was because the protesters were becoming dangerous. They can have peaceful protests all they want, but once they start vandalizing property, and interrupting classes of students who are willing to work for an education, then they lose their right to protest.
